ohemgee, i seriously cannot get enough of this song.
Devil's Dance Floor by flogging molly. i'm beyond addicted ok. it's horrible, i simply cannot stop.
on a different note, the bbq last night was absolutely great. noah and cooper showed up for a while, along with kirk and lisa. it was rather pleasant to be honest. i haven't seen noah in a LONG time so it was nice to see him and he drank a few beers and yelled at passerby. =] we pretty much spent the entire time on the front porch,
drinking beers, drinking beers, drinking beers, beers, beers. haha, anyway. cooper was only around for a little while, but it was still cool. =] she is supposed to come back this week for our "wallowing" night. i'm kind of excited for it, to be honest. jared already said he would go on a junk food run for us that night if he need him to. =] i love him so much it isn't even funny. i also love how he just accepts that this is the kind of stuff i do, you know? he's like "ok, my girlfriend is having a friend over to watch movies that will make them feel like crap, eat disgusting quantities of junk food and drink a ludicrous amount of wine. ok." haha, i mean, yeah, he looked at me funny at first but as soon as i explained it a little bit he was like, oh all right. i don't know, it's just ... we're doing well. =]
anyway, so yeah. the food was good, the company was good. noah even stayed longer than kirk and lisa. he also didn't take any of her crap, which i wanted to applaud. i dunno, it was great. =] she is so ... irritating sometimes.
anyway, JARED READ MY SHORT STORY! =] At like, 11 when everyone was gone haha. he said it was really good, that my writing was a little awkward but only because it was a style i'm not used to and he said that he found it to be really interesting and a hard, fast read. he said he really liked the story itself too, and how it is kind of open to interpretation. i was really excited because i love getting people to read my stuff and tell me what they think, you know? i'm not the type to be upset if i get a bad critique, so long as it makes sense. you know? anyway, yeah. so hopefully cooper will be reading it, along with steph and shane. haha. i wish i could make EVERYONE do it, hahahaha.
